January Open Print Competition
Our judge, Alison Cawley, had a challenging task assessing and critiquing the 53 prints submitted in this month’s competition. There was a wide variety of genres on display, and the overall standard was very high.
Alison held back 27 images, allowing her to compare similar works before allocating scores. Six prints were awarded a score of 10, and these were:

Tigers Relaxing by the Lake by Neil Davidson
Reflections of New York by Bridget Fonteneau
Purple-throated Mountain-gem by Bridget Fonteneau
Tulip Portraits by Bridget Fonteneau
Basilica of the Immaculate Conception by Glyn Fonteneau
Mike by Dave Peckham
Dave’s Mike print was chosen by Alison as her favourite image of the night.
Congratulations to everyone who scored a 10.
Mike by Dave Peckham
The full results have been published on the website under club news.

Programme Change
We have had to make a small change to our programme as we are unable to use the hall due to the local elections in May.
An outdoor workshop (weather permitting) will now take place on 6th May, and the talk by Ann Eveyard has been rescheduled to 13th May.
